Frequently Asked Questions

When will the hall be open again?

We are currently working with our volunteer team to prepare the hall for re-opening in line with the UK Government roadmap. We want to be sure of the safety of our users, volunteers and staff.

When will regular activities start again?

We are looking at the government guidelines and individual group and activity leaders are being consulted on how we can help them to get going again when it’s safe and appropriate to do so.

Can I book the hall for a party?

Future bookings will depend on the hall meeting requirements of health, hygiene and social distancing as well as safe workplace guidelines. If you are considering an event you can email and we will be in touch.

I have a booking in the future. Will I be able to proceed or can I re-arrange?

We are keeping in touch with all hirers. If restrictions mean that an event cannot go ahead we will re-arrange or arrange a full refund.

How much do you charge to hire rooms at the villlage hall?

The main hall is £15 per hour. We have other rooms of different sizes at £10 per hour. Please note that the charges are the same whether you're hiring for a one off event or a regular activity. The main hall is best suited for parties - we can't wait to welcome families and regulars back!
