  • What activities take place at the hall?
There are large 2 spaces for hire at the village hall - the main hall and the studio. Both have their own entrance. There is also a smaller meeting room which is also used as a base for our local area policing team. A variety of groups and organisations hold regular sessions at the hall on weekdays. More information can be found on the Regular Activities page - click here A weekly timetable is available to view on the wall outside the main door of the hall.
  • Are there restrictions on use of the hall?
You can book the main hall for parties or an event on Saturdays or Sundays. Our premises license allows bookings from 9am until 11pm. Our alcohol license allows the consumption of alcohol until 11pm and live and recorded music must not be played after 11pm. If you'd like to discuss hiring the hall or the studio for an event on a weekday please contact us and we can check availability and discuss your requirements.
  • What are the limits on numbers?
The maximum number of people that can attend a party is 100 but may be less depending on what you wish to do - for example, if you want to bring in a bouncy castle there won't be room for more that 60 people including children. The meeting room can accommodate up to 12 people. For other events or activities it's best to discuss your requirements with a member of the management team - complete the enquiry form and we'll get back to you!
  • What about catering?
You can provide refreshments yourself or use caterers. The main kitchen has lots of space so you can provide hot or cold food for your guests - use of kettles and microwaves is free of charge. There is also a cooker which you can use for an additional fee. The studio has access to a small kitchenette so catering facilities are much more limited.
  • Is there a bar?
The hall is licensed but does not provide a bar. Hirers can provide free drinks for their guests or ask guests to bring their own drinks. Alternatively a pop-up bar can be brought in by the hirer.
  • Is there a car park?
Yes! There is a well lit car park at the back of the building. Once it is full you can park on the road but you must respect our neighbours and not block their driveways. Parking is prohibited in the driveway at the side of the hall.
